- The City of Round Rock is planning to build a 4-lane extension of Creek Bend Blvd. as a
connecting passage directly into Brightwater Drive at the end of Wyoming Springs!
- The purpose of this extension is to funnel traffic from the Old Settler’s Blvd. (3406), Sam Bass
Rd. and FM1431 areas and subdivisions through and into our neighborhoods instead of IH35,
and push them down Wyoming Springs Drive to RM620!
- The HUGE influx of traffic that will be moving down Wyoming Springs directly past Fern Bluff
Elementary will cause EXTREME safety issues for our children, as well as total traffic gridlock
getting in and out of our neighborhood!
- This 4-lane road will connect into our neighborhood directly beside, and within a few feet of, the
Fern Bluff MUD Community Center. Due to the large amount of traffic expected, there are plans to
add a TRAFFIC LIGHT at this location!
- The project is already in the design phase, the City of Round Rock is moving fast!
